THE MOST IMPORTANT PART

Your recovery
backup is everything.

Your recovery seed is the master backup to your wallet. Anyone who has it can access your crypto—so keep it private, offline, and in your control.

Learn about recovery seeds

Write it down by hand

Use the backup card or a secure offline method. Check every word and its order.

Store it somewhere private

Keep it safe from loss, damage, and anyone who shouldn’t have access.

Never share or photograph it

Trezor Support will never ask for your recovery seed. Don’t type it into a website, app, or computer.
